"Gray"dient Glow

Final card combining stamping, Copic coloring and die cutting.
I've been having fun with Copic grays,
I forgot to photograph the 2nd generation stamp I used, but here's the first.

after stamping with Summer Glow by Penny black.  Below is filled in with Copic toner grays.

Before and after adding purple pencil, but it's so subtle you don't even notice what you're seeing.

And then I decided to cut it up with the Gradient Stripes die by Altenew.

There's a layer of purple craft foam lifting up the gradient rectangles.

I was afraid those thinner pieces wouldn't hold up in the mail.  So I am mailing it with the rest of the craft foam die cut inserted.  I'll include instructions to the recipient to remove the extra foam upon receipt.  It even looks pretty this way.  I suppose I could have turned it into two cards.  But I'm extremely happy with what I've learned playing with gray and the beautiful card that resulted.

Here is another example using the same die with different Penny Black stamps, primarily from the Critter Party set.

I always add something to the backs of my cards.

The back and interior uses more stamps from Critter Party and the envelope uses a Lawn Fawn stamp.
Thanks for dropping by!
